In my last message, I talked about being a messenger…
And telling your part of humanity’s new story.
Now I want to share the three primary stages every messenger goes through when sharing their point of view with the world.
- The first phase is receiving the message. This is when a new idea gets born inside of you. It’s when you first realize you have something new that you can share with those around you.
- After receiving the message, you need to live it. This is the second phase, where you embody your message and discover many new details along the way.
For example, I’ve been receiving the nuances of the original message I got more than a decade ago. With each iteration, I learn something new. This gives me a chance to evolve and upgrade my message. - The last phase is the delivery of your message. This is where you realize that people out there want to learn from you and that you solve their problem in a new, necessary way.
You basically go around asking people if they’ve noticed the same problem as you have, and if they need your help in solving it. When you reach this phase, you start telling your part of humanity’s new story. You start transforming your audience with your work.
Now, it’s important to remember that this isn’t a linear process. It’s true that these three steps are successive. You receive the message, embody it, and then deliver it.
But this isn’t a one-time process that ends with delivery. The three phases play on repeat and allow you to keep spreading the message. So, while you’re delivering the message, you’re also receiving and embodying it.
This journey can be the thing that allows you to fulfill your purpose and leave your mark on the world. You just have to figure out what your message is.
