Sending your message takes a lot of work. The last thing you need is for it to fall on deaf ears. It’s not good for business. Worse, you might feel like your message isn’t meaningful enough.
If you’re feeling like this, you’re not the only one. There’s not a lot of truth behind it, though. You just need to look at things the right way…
You might think that your audience isn’t responding to the message you’re sending.
Even if some do respond, most of them are just fence-sitters. They might say something like: “That’s all well and good, but I just need more time to think about it.”
Have you ever had this happen to you?
Sure you have.
It’s impossible to eliminate it altogether. There will always be those who are on the fence about working with you.
However, there’s a lot you can do to minimize this issue.
You’ll be glad to know that the problem isn’t with your message.
You’re just not marketing to the right people.
Let me ask you this…
When have you ever bought something that didn’t serve a purpose or meet a specific need? You’ll think twice about buying something like that.
This is how non-responders and fence-sitters think. They don’t believe your message is the right one for them. They might consider whatever you’re trying to sell, but chances are you won’t hear from them again.
To prevent this, you need to market to hungry people. Those who are longing for the answer you can provide.
It’s crucial to find these people if you want to build your tribe. That’s exactly what I’m going to cover in the next couple of emails. Until then…
