Upgrading Our Expectations
#MondayInsight:
It’s time to upgrade your expectations of life
We want you to upgrade your expectations of life! We want you to have the things that nurture your soul so that you can take greater risks and partner with us more fully in the unfolding of humanity’s new story. That is what we want for you!
How do you upgrade your expectations?
Start by getting honest about what you actually want and need for your soul to be nurtured – and for you to have a firm foundation to be more bold and courageous in the world. Move into that visionary state of your own soul’s desire. Hear it, make peace with it, make friends with it, partner with it, and give attention to it. This breathes life into it and allows life to breathe back into you.
The volume of your calling is being turned up and more is being asked of you. Now is the time to set up the next level of conditions that allow you to live and express that bigger calling in the world.
Dream big, because we have big dreams for you!
Big Love,
Jeffrey
P.S. Here’s a little story related to this from my life…
When I moved to Los Angeles, I used to take a bike ride along the ocean at the end of most workdays. On one bike ride in particular, I was feeling the expansiveness of my calling and made a pact with the Universe…
“I’m ALL IN for my life’s mission, but I have one condition: I’m not doing this thing alone! If I’m going to show up in service to so many people, I need someone to come home to myself – I need a partner by my side.”
And the response was, “Do you think that’s a difficult task for us? In the grand scheme of the whole world, do you think that having a partner in your life is a tall order? Yeah, not so much.” My guides just kind of chuckled at me.
I had struggled in the relationship arena for a long time, pining for someone to be in my life. But in that moment I said, “I’m upgrading my expectations of life. I will have a partner as I do my life’s work.”
That’s when I moved from someone who hoped for a partner, but doubted one existed for me to someone who had drawn a line in the sand and knew: I will have a partner. Sure enough, within a few years, I met my partner Pete. In the 5 years we’ve been together we’ve built a beautiful, deeply supportive relationship. A few years ago we bought a home on a peaceful piece of land tucked away in the Hollywood Hills and have the sweetest, funniest dog in the world, named Tucker.
Here’s what I notice: I now have a solid foundation in my life unlike anything I’ve ever known, and that solid foundation allows me to take much bigger risks, allowing me to move further into what I’m called to do and where I’m called to go.
It started by upgrading my expectations of life – and this is an invitation for you to do the same.
